Finance Business Partner

We are currently recruiting for
2x Finance Business Partner – (£22.97ph) based in Lisburn HQ 36.25 pw. 6-12month initial contract. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTodeliver a complete financial management service to specified Directorateswithin NIFRS and play a key role in the overall financial management of theorganisation. Tooversee the financial governance of specified Directorates, ensuring financialregularity, compliance and value-for-money within a framework of excellentcustomer service and continuous improvement.
Tosupport the senior management team within specified Directorates, reportingregularly to the Director as lead customer.
To play akey role in the formation and implementation of relevant policies, proceduresto ensure effective financial management and governance, including statutorycompliance and recognised best practice across the organisation.
Toperform a lead role in the custody of NIFRS’s budget. Toprovide a challenge function to senior management in respect of financialdecision making and governance to ensure value for money, compliance with theprinciples outlined in Managing Public Money NI and consistency with corporateobjectives. To ensurethe day to day implementation of culture change across the Service with respectto devolved budgeting by advocating best practice financial governance. To act asthe key liaison between devolved and corporate finance to ensure consistencyand compliance with strategic decision-making.CRITERIA Havesuccessfully completed the professional examinations and be a full, currentmember of a CCAB recognised body.
At leasttwo years post-qualification* experience in one or more of the following areas:
financial planning andbudgeting;
management accounting and costanalysis;
investment finance;
treasury management; and/or
development / implementation of financial systems.
*Post qualification experience will be deemed to have commenced from the date onwhich applicants were admitted to full membership of the CCAB recognised body.
