Finance Business Partner

Salary:
£40k - 45k per year + excellent pension
Resorucery Group are delighted to be supporting a reputable not-for-profit organisation in Blackburn in their search for a Finance Business Partner. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing Finance team, headed by a hands-on and experienced Group Finance Manager. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for managing 2 Assistant Accountants and working collaboratively across the organisation to build strong relationships.The Finance Business Partner will play a vital role in providing efficient and proactive finance management services, including strategic advice, guidance, coaching, and support to key budget holders and non-finance individuals. The primary focus of this role is to recommend finance solutions that drive efficiency, improve business understanding, reduce risk, and educate and enhance processes and procedures.Key responsibilities include:Producing monthly management accountsWorking closely with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information for decision-making purposesEstablishing and maintaining relationships with budget holders and openly communicating on financial mattersConducting regular meetings with key stakeholders to review financial informationOverseeing the work of 2 Assistant AccountantsSupporting the Group Finance Manager with project work and system harmonisationSignificant involvement in budget setting and quarterly reviewsUndertaking ad hoc duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:Qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA/CAABExperience working in a multifaceted environmentAbility to produce full monthly management accounts and collaborate with the wider organisationPrior experience in the not-for-profit sector is desirableThe Finance Business Partner will receive the following benefits:Hybrid working – 2 days per week on-siteExcellent learning and development opportunities with support for external courses25 days holiday, plus Christmas closure and bank holidays
