Finance business partner for a PE backed market leading businessLots of progression and development on offer in this role and companyAbout Our ClientI am working with a PE backed, market leading business based in Manchester who are looking for a progressive Finance Business Partner to join their team. This business is on a major growth strategy and have a real focus on people within the business, which offers a great chance for progression and development.Job DescriptionThis Finance Business Partner role reports in to the Financial Controller and role is integral to ensuring all commercial activities are performed accurately and on a timely basis and to support the wider business in their need for relevant commercial analysis, revenue growth and cost management. As part of this support you will also take responsibility for liaising directly with the customer and internal operational management. You will have ownership of all monthly operational and financial business review process.The Successful ApplicantYou will need to be a ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant with up to 5 years PQE with the ambition and desire to grow your career. You have previous experience of working within a commercial finance role engaging with senior stakeholders ideally across the business. You will also have excellent interpersonal and have the drive to challenge the status-quo. You will also be a very strong MS Excel user.Develop strong relationships across the business to deliver projects that align to the priorities and businesses plans.Deliver high quality, actionable insight with narrative and commentary to non-finance stakeholders across the business, enabling them to make better and more informed decisions.Being a key part of the due diligence and post deal acquisition process - integrating new businesses in to the group to ensure a smooth transitionOwnership of the month end process, including preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and control, and detailed variance analysis on customer numbers, transaction volumes, price and cost variation, and Opex.Production of monthly financial performance reports for executive review and for monthly Board reporting.Bank and cash management, including short-term and long-range cash forecasting and balance sheet optimisation.Responsibility for intra-group cost allocations, pricing, and transfers.Preparation of the year-end audit files and key point of contact for external auditors.Responsibility for VAT / CT tax returns / coordinate with Group tax advisers.What's on OfferYou will get a competitive salary of up to £60,000 along with a bonus with 25 days holiday and healthcare insurance.
