Job DescriptionFinance Business Partner – 12-month FTC£60,000 - £65,000 + 10% Bonus, benefits + hybrid workingAila is partnered with a leading hospitality business that has grown at a phenomenal rate since its inception in 2008. They have grown rapidly in the last few years following several acquisitions and have grown from 7 sites in the Group, to 27, becoming a true leader in the industry.They have an amazing atmosphere both on their sites and head office in Hemel Hempstead, and they’re looking for support in their team with an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Finance Business Partner to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract.This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to join a multi-site leisure business in a role that is truly focused on business partnering with sites, adding value through insightful analysis and taking a leading role in commercial business partnering with Operations including supporting on M&A activity.We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner that will work closely with the business to help make some key decisions, review historical data as well as future projections.You will naturally be a confident and assuring individual with at least 2 years’ experience in a business partnering role and the ability to influence and persuade senior stakeholders with confidence.Key Responsibilities:with the Business operators to ensure all assumptions are fully owned and initiatives can be tracked with reference to KPIsa Budget and detailed reforecasts through the year in accordance with the FP&A timetableperformance trends to develop top-down monthly P&L Outlooks highlighting risks and opportunities to targetFP&A with the 5 Year Plan process by providing key assumptions into the planimprove the Budget process including seeking automation and integration with reporting systemsthe creation of the monthly Board Deck summarising period performance through insightful narrative.insightful commentary on performance (vs Budget/Forecast & Last Year) with reference to P&L drivers supporting the monthly Board report.management accounts to explain and challenge the business performance with central business partners and the Divisional Directoractions plan to address Risks & Opportunitiesoperational expenditure is in line with Budgetaccuracy and efficiency around production of budgets, forecasts and reportingthe network planning of the business by working with the planning lead and the operations directorthe ground rent process in the form of new submissions and top-ups.To be successful in this role, you will be a Qualified Accountant with FP&A experience and strong business partnering exposure within in a similar role, in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Aila is a specialist finance recruitment business that was established with a modern vision of what a recruitment partner should be.
