Finance Business Partner

Are you a commercially astute accountant seeking a varied business partnering role with a growing business?

Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic fast-paced business near Exeter. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for providing financial insight and guidance to enable leadership to make informed decisions as well as delivering accurate financial reporting.

Finance Business Partner – The Role:

• Providing support to senior and operational management by reviewing management accounts, forecasts, P&L; providing insight into performance to enable strategic decision making and identify opportunities for improvement.


• Working closely with operational colleagues across multiple sites, providing support and improving financial understanding and accurate reporting, challenging on revenue and costs as needed.


• Using your financial expertise to aide operational management to understand financial data.


• Helping to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business.


• Preparing and presenting annual budget and quarterly forecast reports for Directors.


• Overseeing MI reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.


• Delivering financial and business case reporting, assisting with tenders and analysing capital projects.

Finance Business Partner – The Rewards:

In return this employer provides an engaging working environment, competitive salary of £45,000 – £59,000pa plus comprehensive benefits package including car allowance generous holiday + bank holidays, pension, life assurance, staff discounts and lots more.

Hours: Mon – Fri 37.5hours

Location: Hybrid, you will need to be based within commuting distance of the office.

Please note this this role is easily commutable from Exeter, Tiverton, Cullompton, Wellington and surrounding areas however does require occasional travel to operational sites across the South West.

Finance Business Partner – The Person:

We are keen to hear from qualified accountants (ACA ACCA or CIMA), or similar ‘qualified by experience’ accountants with strong business partnering experience gained in a commercial business.

You will be a self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced, change environment where you will be comfortable working collaboratively within finance and operational teams, senior management and Directors.

A first-rate communicator able to build effective relationships, using your influencing skills to ensure priorities and recommendations are actioned and implemented effectively.

A natural solutions finder with excellent analytical skills.
