Finance Business Partner

T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of a successful international organisation who have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join their team. The Finance Business Partner reports into the Head of Finance and will be responsible for business partnering two Commercial directors and their teams to support them in delivering revenue and profit for the UK business. They will aid in the delivery of the business’s objectives and targets through proactively evaluating and challenging business performance and margin control, adding value to and influencing decision-making by recommending solutions and options.

The successful candidate will have a wealth of business partnering experience and the ability to work with commercial to drive business performance. This is a key role focusing on business partnering the commercial function on tender bids, profitability analysis, and business cases.

• Location:  Ideally you will be based between Durham & Stockton on Tees


• Competitive Salary £50,000 to £55,000 + Benefits Package

As Finance Business Partner your remit will include:

• Working alongside the Head of Finance to business partner the commercial team to drive financial performance.


• Providing insight and support using both financial and non-financial data and KPI’s, as well as challenging the commercial function on performance, future plans and outlook.


• Support the tender process along with the area teams, ensuring financial due diligence whilst also challenging the commercials


• Support business decisions and analysis across a wide range of ad hoc requests for the North-East and Yorkshire areas.

To be successful as Finance Business Partner you will have the following skills and experience:

• Accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA


• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to both constructively challenge and influence at all levels


• Business partnering a commercial function, with particular experience in tender processes or business cases and financial analysis.


• Be a strong all-rounder with demonstrable track record in commercial analysis and evaluation and business planning / evaluation
