Job Overview
As a Finance Business Partner in the Cleaning sector, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by providing strategic financial insights and analysis to the business. This is a hybrid-working remote position, combining working with a vibrant & supportive finance team in the office, visiting clients sites and working from home. Your expertise in finance business partnering and management accounts, along with desire to make a difference, will be essential in driving informed decision-making and supporting the financial growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production of timely and accurate monthly Management Reports and Accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Including all necessary regional reports for major contracts in the Sector.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, to aid the understanding of the financial position of the Sector’s variances and trends to ensure suitable action is taken where necessary.
- To monitor key performance indicators and variance analysis to provide a clear understanding of the drivers of growth to inform and develop both short-term performance and the strategic direction of the Sector.
- Develop and maintain effective business partnering relationships across different operational teams.
- Work with Operational teams to improve working capital performance, with particular reference to debt and stock management
- Preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts to manage the divisional results and expectations across the business.
- Utilise Microsoft Dynamics & Power BI to analyse financial data, create insightful reports, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management and board meetings.
- Compliance with group finance policy and procedure and establishment of additional policy and procedure as required.
Key working relationships:
- Operational Teams, including Contract Managers & Account Directors
- At times supporting Commercial Finance Director & Sector Managing Directors
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
- Part Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience of preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Management Accounts
- Experience of budgeting and forecasting
- Experience of Facilities Management Industry would be desirable
- Commercial acumen, with an ability to interpret numbers and communicate key issues in a concise and clear manner to a range of audiences
- Possessing a high level of attention to detail, but commercially focussed.
- Excellent communications skills and customer service orientation.
- Engaging client facing capabilities to build and develop relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with complex financial models.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Able to deal with a fast-paced continually evolving role.
- Curious, determined with bags of initiative.
