My client, a leading PE-backed professional services firm near Chester, are looking to hire a systems-savvy Finance Business Partner to join their fast-paced finance team.Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to support their operations team. The successful candidate will be supporting the finance and operations functions with analysis to support decision making. With a passion for all things data, your role is to gather and scrutinise data to generate information, provide internal reporting and insightful analysis.This is a newly created role within a rapidly growing company, and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, and to really make significant contributions to operational performance.What you'll do:As a Finance Business Partner in Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting decision-making processes through your passion for data analysis. You will be responsible for gathering and analysing data, creating Power BI reports, supporting profitability reporting, undertaking trend analysis, preparing KPIs, and responding promptly to data requests. Your insights will help shape strategic plans and drive operational performance improvements.Gather and scrutinise data to generate information, provide internal reporting and insightful analysis.Provide regular analysis of the operational performance of the business, providing commentary on trends, and driving value added insight about how the business can react or adapt to these trends.Create and manage Power BI reports looking at operational performance by product and sector.Support with data for profitability reporting.Undertake trend analysis that ensures strategic plans incorporate current business performance and trends.Collate and prepare KPIs for submission to senior stakeholders.Support with the preparation of information for the budgeting and forecasting of operational resource.Respond to data requests in real-time to support the operational team.What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role is qualified accountant with exceptional attention to detail. You possess strong analytical skills that enable you to interpret complex financial data effectively. Your IT proficiency, particularly in Excel, Power BI, and SQL, allows you to create comprehensive reports that inform strategic decisions.
