Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Fantastic Bonus & Benefits
Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on behalf of an Innovative Manufacturing organisation in Huddersfield.
If you are a commercially focused accountant with a passion for operations and being involved in the wider business, then this is a fantastic and exciting opportunity within a fast-growing manufacturing business. You will be working closely with senior management to increase the company's efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan. Along with being involved in the commercial and operational decision making which will shape the path the business takes over the next few years.
Duties & Responsibilities:Participate in business tactical and strategic discussionsIdentify opportunities for business improvementReview and maintenance of product costing by SKU on a regular basisAdvise on the impact of any pricing and cost changesAssist with pricing decisions for customers including the utilisation of increased production capacityCollaborate with department managers to develop and maintain departmental budgets on a monthly basisAnalyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability and cost efficiencyReview key spend variances on a monthly basis in partnership with the Financial ControllerProvide financial support and guidance to enable effective decision-making within the departments, especially the sales functionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall business efficiencyOversee financial aspects of various projects, including capex, ensuring timely and accurate reporting on project financial performanceCollaborate with project managers to evaluate project profitability and identify areas for improvementImplement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimisationConduct regular reviews of operational expenses in partnership with Procurement and provide recommendations for improvementIntroduce new software solutions to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and project managementSupport the transition to a more efficient and automated management information systemSupport with monitoring and external reporting such as SustainabilityElevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:CIMA, ACCA OR ACA QualifiedRecent relevant experience in ManufacturingStakeholder management and influencingCommercial and operational decision supportStrong IT skills, including advanced ExcelElevation Accountancy & Finance is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment focusing on the recruitment of talented Accountancy and Finance professionals across all levels, from Ledger Clerks through to Financial Directors in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
