The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for delivering high quality information while meeting tight deadlines to deliver financial & management accounting information. A dynamic, driven, self- starter, business aware candidate is required to help deliver financial KPI's for the customer centre. This is role is currently for 1 year Fixed Term Contract with aspiration to be made permanent with Organisation's growth.Role ResponsibilitiesAs the Finance Business Partner for Key Local Customers such as Heathrow, you will play a pivotal role in Control and support of the business, related to financial topics in customer opportunities. This role is further detailed across our organisation Core Values as per belowTrusted Business Partner for all types of Projects (Installation and Site Based)Maintain project profitability through good project controlUnderstand Commercial Terms & Conditions of the financial deliverables for relevant contracts (Fixed, Time & Material, Target and GMP)Update latest estimates forecast in alignment with all stakeholdersAdherence to Month End Processes in a timely mannerSupport Internal and External audits across financial deliverablesLiaise closely with Group Treasury to ensure non-GBP metrics are hedged where applicableAdherence to Framework process agreed with customerPrepare monthly Order Intake, Revenue and Margin forecastsMonthly Analysis of Actuals v/s Forecast to manage FY targets (Deliver what we say)Responsible for Budgeting and Forecasting for respective domains in liaison with Customer Centre and StakeholdersContribution to Risk Assessment Control (Risk and OpportunityCustomer KPI SatisfactionContribution towards our NPS ScoringFinance Lead in Monthly Customer and Supplier meetingsWorking with Contracts that include close negotiations with UnionsDeliver Financial Awareness to internal stakeholdersAs part of the Finance Community Groups globally, share best practice (Back to Basics)Assist with Financial Control and Reporting Cycle internally to stakeholdersPeriodic review of activities in compliance with JSOXLiaise with Commercial Managers where applicable to discuss AFP and commercial risks and opportunities impacting P&LAssist with Ad-hoc tasks for Finance ComplianceEnsure process is followed across all activities of FinanceNo Surprise Culture (manage early warnings with stakeholders and Group Finance)Deliver what we say (Be realistic with forecast submissions) alongside Project ManagersConsistency in Financial Reporting (understood by all audience)Role Qualification and SkillsBusiness Partnering experienceGood understanding of accounting for large, multi-year contractsPreferred Experience of JD Edwards and Hubble SBC7 reporting systemsProject accounting experience including Percentage of CompletionExcellent verbal and communication skillsKnowledge of NEC would be an advantageFinance and Commercial skillsKnowledge of Inventory (Consignment stock)Team player as well as ability to work on own initiativeExperience of management accounts, including forecasting, reporting and variance analysisConfident and hands-on self-starter, able to quickly reach a senior, valued position within the organisationStrong interpersonal skills, able to quickly develop high quality working relationsGood sense of setting the right priorities in a demanding and dynamic environmentFocused on continuous, pro-active identification and realisation of process improvements within all business segmentsPreferred but not required: Master degree in accounting or business administration, and/or equivalent business experienceExperience within a subsidiary of a foreign multinational, able to handle both the interests of the UK company and Vanderlande GroupWhat we offer28 days of annual leave (excluding public holidays)Bupa Medical CoverYuLife - Wellbeing membership with fast access to GP appointments, promotion of health and wellbeing along with daily quests to gain Yucoins that can be swapped for shopping vouchersPerkbox includes things such as free eye tests at Specsavers including discounts on Glasses, free cinema vouchers and a weekly free coffee from Nero.
