Finance Business Partner - Education

Xenial Consulting are currently working with a Higher Education establishment based in West London who are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join them on a full-time permanent basis.Reporting to the Director of Finance, you be an integral part of the Finance Team and will be responsible for the following duties:Preparation of annual revenue and capital budgetPreparation of monthly management accountsPreparation of monthly cashflow reports.Monitoring the financial position of all cost centres and provide support to budget managers.Monitoring expenditure and project salary costs against budgets.Recommending efficiency savingsAssisting in the preparation of the business case for capital investment programesSupporting the tendering & evaluation process for all of the institutions contractsAssisting with the development and maintenance of all college financial applications.Analysing financial data and produce reports to managementBe a contact point for internal and external auditors as appropriate.Maintaining rolling schedule of implementation of audit recommendations.Managing and completing the year-end financial accountsEnsuring that all grant claims and statistical returns are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis.Ensuring bank accounts and all control accounts are subject to regular reconciliation and that unexplained items are investigated.Ensuring that quarterly VAT returns are submitted on a timely basisAssisting with the development and training of finance staff.You will be a Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years previous experience of working within a Higher Education setting.If this role is of interest, please submit your CV asap for consideration.
