What if that person was you?We need an AWEsome Finance Business Analyst to join our Finance team to advise on cost control within established areas of the business.Location: Our offices are based in Berkshire, RG7 4PR between Reading and Basingstoke with onsite parking.Salary Range: Starts at £26,740, there is some scope for negotiation.As a Finance Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the project and functional managers by providing financial information so that project managers can make informed decisions.What's exciting is:This is a lovely role for someone starting out in Finance who is keen to progress within Cost Control. It's a family friendly, supportive team with opportunities for professional development and flexible working.A typical day for a Finance Business Analyst could look like this:Supporting the business area you are in with financial informationMaintaining, inputting and providing informationReviewing actual costs against budget and forecast and identifying any variancesReviewing actual progress against plan and identifying any variancesProviding ad-hoc report where the requirement is justified, working with Ad Hoc MI and InformationWe would like you to demonstrate or have experience of:Inter-personal skills to communicate with team members, project and functional managersMicrosoft Office specialist skills associated with the roleWorking use of a cost management tool / business system experience is not essential but is advantageousWorking as part of a teamA finance backgroundWhy work for us?AWE has been voted one of the best 25 big companies to work for this year.
