Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Bolton, Lancashire

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 + Benefits

We are working well-established business based in Bolton who are looking for a Finance professional to join their team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with excellent working culture and opportunities. This role will report to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible managing the purchase ledger and sales ledger function within the business and work hand in hand with the accounts team.

Your main roles and responsibilities:

Responsible for the coding of Purchase Invoices
Authorising invoices correctly and process these onto Xero
Raising purchase orders
Resolving any issues/queries
Update Xero for any supplier payments
Raise and input payments onto the bank ready for approval
Bank Reconciliations
Raising of rental & service charge invoices
Chasing payments from clients
Monitoring the finance mailbox and resolving queries via e-mail and phone
Manage credit card and expenses process
Assisting the team with accounting or admin tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous accounts experience
Excellent customer service
Excellent teamwork
Persistence and determination
Thorough attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and Word
