Finance Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and organised Finance Assistant to join the Treasury and Cash Operations team in central Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the firm.

What you'll do:

• Process payments to clients and key suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Meticulously record all financial transactions in their accounting system
• Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations in various foreign currencies across all bank account
• Liaise with partners/fee earners, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of client
  monies in accordance with local country regulations
• Preparation of client monies statements for review and approval
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing excellent customer service to colleagues and external clients

What you'll bring:

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of spreadsheets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
