Finance Assistant

One of our clients based in Wakefield are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team ASAP to cover a maternity leave.

This role is a 12 Month FTC on a full time basis, as always with contracts there may be an opportunity to extend or go permanent.

To be considered:

• You must be proficient within Xero.
• Have 3 years+ experience within finance.
• Be eager and willing to hit the ground running.
• The role is on office based in order to support the finance manager and further team, you must be available immediately or with short notice.

Duties:

• Matching purchase orders to invoices.
• Query resolution.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Input all invoices.
• Check supplier statement to both the purchase and sales ledger.
• Input accounting data into Xero with speed and accuracy.
• Assist with payment runs.
• Ad-hoc duties.
