Finance Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to present an exceptional opportunity with a reputable and thriving business located in the Armthorpe, Doncaster area. We are currently seeking a dynamic Finance Assistant to join their team, with AAT study support provided.

If you’re an AAT studier or someone with extensive experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, and looking to join a stable business where you can settle in for the long term, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

• Create sales invoices in the system
• Post sales invoices in SAGE
• Verify prices
• Post customer receipts
• Handle customer queries related to sales invoices, statements, etc.
• Support the credit control department by providing sales information
• Prepare sales reports
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Other administrative tasks (support the Accounts department, filing, deposit cheques in the bank, etc.)

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Progress towards AAT or experience within transactional finance
• Strong IT proficiency, ideally with Excel
• Desire for a long-term career in finance
• Ability to effectively manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving situations
• Impeccable organisational skills and acute attention to detail
• Proactive approach, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
