BASIC SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Finance Assistant, Finance Analyst, Data Analyst - Facilities and Catering Services, Consultancy

This Finance Analyst role will be looking at clusters of data sent in by clients to ensure accuracy and efficiency for the pricing of the products and services. Working closely with the senior team and external consultants, you will need to produce (Apply online only) reports monthly which includes budget variance analysis and document reconciliation from the P&L.

In addition, you will be:
· Working closely with the tender team to evaluate the finances for the tenders that come through to ensure these are viable.
· Evaluating the financial insight into the projects which the consultants undertake which can include qualitative services such as market research and providing cost analysis for the projects.
· Having an input towards the teams' methods of working with ways to improve the services they provide.
· Managing your own diary in order of workload to be in cohesion with the project timetables and office calendars.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Finance Assistant, Finance Analyst, Data Analyst - Facilities and Catering Services, Consultancy

To be successful in becoming our new Analyst / Finance Assistant you will be ambitious and driven and will demonstrate your attention to detail through accurate assessment of data.

You will also need to be:
· Capable of analysing and monitoring financial data.
· Proficient in Excel, able to create data analysis reports graphs and tables.
· AAT qualified or equivalent experience or qualification.
· A fast-paced individual who can work well with in a team and adhere to strict deadlines.

THE COMPANY:

We are a catering and facilities management consultancy based in Surrey with over 30 years' experience within the industry. Our specialities lie working within the public sector with 75% of our catering contracts originates from this source. With a full team of 22 employees consisting of business development team, tenders and finance we are looking for an analyst to join the team.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services:  Finance Analyst, Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Data Analyst, Accountant, Business Analyst, Cost Analyst, Treasury Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst.
