Our client is an award-winning engineering company that operates within a niche market.  Providing specialist services to a large global customer base.

Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking to strengthen their Finance team
THE ROLE:

As an Assistant Accountant, you will be required to

• Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts


• Creating Journals, Prepayments and Accruals


• Balance Sheet reconciliation, Nominal Ledger and Control Accounts


• Working alongside the Finance Manager with VAT returns and Year End processes

THE PERSON:

• Adaptable with a strong work ethic you will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.


• Experience of Sage accounts would be beneficial but not essential.


• At least 18 months experience in a key finance role with the ability to manage a heavy and varied workload.
  
  You will ideally be AAT qualified or working towards a qualification,
