Due to continuous growth, we have an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team.
Finance Assistant - The Role:

To ensure accurate order feedback for all Hazardous waste collections and that all customers are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner. The role will involve opening all incoming post at Bilsthorpe and preparing cheques to be banked, as well as occasionally assisting with locating copy documents for order checking.



Finance Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

• Record and process brokerage purchase invoices in a timely manner.

• Record and process non-brokerage purchase invoices when required in a timely manner.

• Maintain and allocate incoming purchase ledger emails.

• Escalate emails where appropriate.

• Resolve purchase order queries internally.

• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and document archiving.

• Other general assistance as required.



Finance Assistant - Knowledge, Training, Experience, Technical and Personal Skills:



Required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent numerical skills.

• Strong PC and technical knowledge and skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Teams.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to handle large amounts of information.

• Well organised and self-disciplined with the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure.

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations and / or systems.

• A flexible attitude to the team’s work, including a willingness to reprioritise and undertake additional tasks if required.
