Finance Assistant (Temp to Perm)

The Prodrive Group now comprises of five distinct but complimentary businesses (Motorsport, Advanced Technology, Composites, Ventures, and Brand&), benefitting from four decades of sporting and commercial success and a reputation for complex programme execution.We have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis to provide support within the Finance team, ensuring compliance with all Prodrive policies and reporting deadlines, and providing financial support to the month-end process.Key responsibilitiesManage the creditors ledger including invoice posting, creditor payments, maintenance of installment plans and schedules, supplier account set up and reconciliations.Support the Assistant Management Accountant by providing timely and accurate updates on creditor spend for the weekly cash flow, highlighting any risks concerns or variances.Review creditors ledger on a weekly basis and assist with month end creditor reconciliations highlighting any issues to the Assistant Management Accountant.Review and keep on top of open POs including GRNI report.Manage company credit card and expenses process in line with company policy and ensuring prompt turnaround.Post daily bank transactions and produce weekly bank reconciliationsProvide ad-hoc financial support to the Management Accountant and Finance Manager as required.Who are we looking for?Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience within a financial accounting environment and be competent with using a fully integrated accounting system as well as Microsoft packages including Excel. You will be a self-starter and be motivated to work efficiently, as part of a team, to specific deadlines and deliverables, and be able to create financial and nonfinancial reports for operational and executive use.
