Finance Analyst

Copello have partnered with a defence business in Hampshire on the recruitment of a Finance Analyst.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst will have responsibility for assisting the Financial Controller and Financial Accountant to finalist the monthly and annual management accounts and statutory reporting.

For the Finance Analyst role, my client are looking for:

Results-orientated and has an eye for detail ensuring that all schedules are accurate

Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to build and manage relationships across the company at all levels whilst providing robust challenges when required

*

Can build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

*

Ability to work accurately in a number of different areas at the same time

The ideal candidate with have the following skills/qualifications/experience:

Experience of a small business/financial systems

*

Good working knowledge of financial accounting, double entry, account reconciliation etc

*

Working in complex financial businesses

*

High level of Excel knowledge
