Robert Walters are recruiting a Finance Analyst to join a global technology company located in Manchester. Due to the evolving and growing nature of the business, this new vacancy is offering a competitive salary to join their thriving, diverse and ambitious Finance team.The RoleSitting within the finance team, the role focuses on your ability to model future initiatives by analysing key internal and external metrics. You will be responsible for:Drawing up business case submissions to secure investment, securing the forward strategy of the businessBuild relationships across the organisation to understand what will be different in the future, how risks, opportunities and strategic initiatives will affect the Financial success of the business then factor this insight into your modelsAnalysing the success of your predictions and explain the variances, providing insight, actions, and contingency plansThe financial support for the capital planning processData modelling for new strategy direction, making correct decisions for the business to maximise profitability and returnProviding business partnering and accountability of target deliverables into businessThe CandidateYou will be/have:A fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Previous experience working with financial modelling, especially large and complex data setsExperience with Excel, Access, SQL and/or Power BIFinancial experience including management accounts preparation and month end reporting cyclesStrong presentation skills and able to represent complex data in a simplified, concise mannerExcellent communication skillsThe CompanyThis global technology company, based in Manchester, are seeking to build upon their continued success both within the UK and internationally.
