Its global headquarters is in Newmarket, which is the epicentre of the UK's thoroughbred industryJob DescriptionWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst role based at our Headquarters in Newmarket. We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting various financial activities, providing valuable insights and analysis to drive informed decision-making across the organisation.Key responsibilities will be:Providing day to day financial support to the Property and Facilities departmentPreparing weekly and monthly financial reports and variance investigation to track and analyse department performance.Assist in providing alternatives and recommendation to improve efficienciesBusiness partnering with key internal stakeholdersDeveloping, enhancing and implementing financial processes and systems within the Property and Estates departmentWork with the department to generate budgets and financial forecastsTrack and analyse operating and capital expenditure across the department ensuring budgetary controlReview bid proposals and provide advice and guidance to managementESOS ReportingProject workQualificationsSkills and experienceCIMA or ACCA qualified (at least 2years PQE) or have proven experienceExcellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levelsExperience of management reportingExcellent analytical skillsSelf-motivated, have a pro-active approach with ability to critically assess and challengeGood technical knowledge of accounting principlesExcellent spreadsheet skills and proficient in using financial softwareAbility to review, analyse and present large amounts of data to management.Additional InformationWorking hours for this position are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.We offer an impressive benefits package in a first-class working environment, with excellent opportunities to learn and develop new skills.The closing date for applications is Monday 29 April 2024, however candidates will be screened whilst the role is open, and we reserve the right to close the vacancy ahead of the above mentioned date should we receive a high volume of suitable applications.Please apply online, or send your CV and a covering letter to:##### aims to create a diverse and inclusive working environment in which everyone feels valued, that their contribution matters and they are able to perform to their full potential.
