Specifically, the role will assist in delivering financial insight, improving finance processes, reporting and preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.The role is critical to aiding the streamlining of both routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements and reports to the Senior Commercial Finance Business PartnerTo support the commercial finance and business partnering deliverables team and be a key contributor to evolving finance as a trusted partner to the business for Collinson.Key ResponsibilitiesTo prepare monthly reporting of the Insurance result, including analysis of key variances and identification of risks and opportunities.To help produce quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, submitting on time to Group Finance once approved.Gain knowledge of loading and reporting in the consolidated Group Infor system.Help deliver the Commercial Finance Team's goal of implementing its own bespoke budgeting software - TagetikAssist with driving profitable growth across the DivisionAmong other regular month-end reports, the production of monthly financial KPI dashboardsAssist in providing scenario modelling, commercial pricing support and analysis to support client propositions and business decisions.Ad hoc support / analysis where requiredKnowledge, skills and experience requiredGood Communication skills both written and oralStrong IT skills, Intermediate/Advanced ExcelACCA/CIMA part qualified / University Graduate - preferably MathsExperience of SAP preferredHas to be a self-starter, inquisitive and happy to work independently when requiredAbility to work under pressure to strict deadlines and deliver results.Highly motivated and focused on achieving company goalsCollinson is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes differences in all their forms including: colour, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, family status, age, individuals with disabilities and people from all backgrounds, cultures and experiences as we strongly believe this contributes to our on-going success.We are focused on continually evolving our purpose driven, high performing culture, providing an environment where our people have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and do interesting and meaningful work.
