Sheridan Maine is collaborating with our client who is based in Weymouth to recruit for a Finance Analyst, the successful candidate will join a welcoming and supportive team environment within the finance department.This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the flexibility of 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office. Additionally, study support is available for your professional development.Your main responsibilities will include:Assisting with the compilation of reports and accountingMaintenance of the general ledgerProcessing and recording financial dateWorking closely with the FP&A teamEnsuring accurate and timely posting to give the correct period resultsMonthly intercompany reconciliationsSupporting the year end auditDeveloping and refining proceduresTo be considered for the role of Finance Analyst, you should possess the following skills and experience:Part qualified or studying toward an accounting qualificationIntermediate Excel skills for effective data managementAbility to work independently and collaboratively within the team, prioritising tasks to meet deadlinesExperience in a similar accounting positionStrong communication and organisational skillsExcellent accuracy and attention to detailIf you have already started your career in accounting and finance and are looking for the next step, then we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
