Finance Administrator

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a well-established business based within the Leeds area. This role reports directly into the Finance Manager and support with the wider finance function. The ideal candidate will have some accounts/finance experience in a fast-paced environment.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a reputable company with a friendly and supportive finance team. You will be providing support to the wider finance team but primarily focusing upon sales ledger and purchase ledger.
You will also be responsible for the following:-

• Registering, recording and matching supplier invoices to purchase orders.
• Maintaining and building relationships with suppliers.
• Credit control.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Ensuring internal and external queries are resolved in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will:-

• Have at least 1 year's finance/accounts experience either in purchase ledger or sales ledger.
• Be self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working towards deadlines.
• Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Have good Excel skills.
