My client, one of the UK's leading energy businesses is looking for a part time Finance & Accounts Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that offers a truly flexible hybrid role to suit round busy life commitments. Hours are negotiable.

THE ROLE

This is a hands on role requiring an individual to be involved in:

� Daily Reporting: Regularly preparing and analysing financial reports.

� Budgeting and Forecasting: Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.

� Handling accounts payable, collections, and payroll

� Support payroll and relationship with external payroll provider

� Cash Flow Monitoring: Keeping an eye on cash flow within the organisation

� Liaising with Accountant Teams: Collaborating with accounting professionals.

� Processing Invoices: Reviewing and processing supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting.

� Creating Identifying Codes: Assigning unique codes to each invoice for easy tracking during tax filing.

� Supplier Management: Setting up credit accounts with new suppliers and maintaining their details in the financial

� Efficient Payment Processes: Establishing streamlined procedures for registering and making payments.

� VAT Calculations: Calculating the VAT owed on purchased items.

� Monitoring Pending Payments: Tracking impending payments to suppliers.

� Fibre invoice processing

THE PERSON

This is a job share role. You will be a team player who can demonstrate that you can meet the following criteria:

  • Financial and numerical skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships
  • Excellent IT skills especially in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of an Accounting software package
  • High attention to detail
