The Role:We're looking for a Finance/Accounting Manager to join us in our Belfast office. As a member of our Finance team, reporting to the Finance Director, this role will provide accounting support for Factor's Global operations. This position requires an understanding of, and management towards, the bigger picture, but with the ability to take a hands-on approach.In this role, you'll be providing critical support for all international accounting activities. You will be responsible for, or provide direct support for, general ledger accounting, either through preparation of month-end entries, or by reviewing and partnering with our third-party providers. You will review revenue contracts for revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP. You will support Accounts Payable activities following up with vendors, resolve issues, and prepare accruals. You will work with our third-party accounting service providers to provide them support, serve as the conduit to the broader business, and review information. You will work with our third-party payroll providers to provide them information required to process monthly payroll.We're looking for someone who can spot issues, resolve problems, and build strong relationships within and across all teams in the company.If you believe in being a team player, can collaborate and communicate well with technical and non-technical audiences while bringing a result-driven, focused, high energy, confident, curious, quirky, and most of all fun sense of self, then this is the place for youResponsibilities:Maintain general ledger accounting, including standard and month-end entries, as well as intercompanyManage Account Payable and ReceivableMange the month end close processWork with auditors in support of statutory, group, and tax auditsWork with and support third parties for tax and payroll rtWork closely with all members of the finance department including the , Controller and the CFOAnalyse transactional information to identify refunds, delinquent accounts and insufficient paymentsPrepare financial statement and subledger reporting, analysing the data and recognizing trendsPrepare Balance Sheet reconciliations in line with agreed deadlinesMaintain performance reporting (KPI's) and ensure targets are successfully deliveredEssential CriteriaQualified with any of the following recognised accounting bodies - ACA, ACCA or CIMA;Minimum of 3 years PQE overall experience in payroll, accounting, or finance;Experience of US GAAPExperience of managing an accounting teamFamiliarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and proceduresMust be able to effectively communicate and build professional relationshipsThe ability to spot and fix issues while working quickly under pressureProficiency with MS Excel and comfort with the remaining MS Office SuiteDesirable CriteriaAbility to manage payroll within the USExperience with Sage Intacct ERPUndergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldHigh-growth or professional services experience preferredAdditional InformationAs a member of an ISO Compliant center, the candidate will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management System in place at the Center of Excellence and globally at Factor.
