Finance Accountant - Insurance - London Markets - Contract - Inside IR35/£500 - £550 per day A reputable Lloyd's Market Insurer are looking for a detail oriented Finance Accountant to join them and support them in all aspects of Financial Accounting and reporting. This is a great role for individuals who are looking to expand their accounting experience within a well-established Lloyd's Market insurer. This role provides you with the opportunity to speak with various members of the organisation and provide your input to the business which will contribute to the success of the organisation. This contract is an initial 3 month contract length (which is likely to be extended) and you would be expected to be in their London based office 4 days a week Monday to Thursday with a work from home day every Friday. Your main accountabilities will include:Managing Multiple WorkflowsManaging Audits and preparing statutory financial statementsGeneral support for the finance team as needed such as quarterly reports submissionsData Handling/Reporting Models/Reconciliations and Management Information The successful candidate will have experience in the following:Insurance or Reinsurance industry experience (Lloyd's Market experience is preferable)Strong Excel skillsDelivery focused individual with attention to detail and strong communication skillsQualified Accountant certifications (ACA/ACCA)Cornwallis Elt is an Employment Agency & Employment Business and has been listed 3 times in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 of the UKs fastest growing private companies, as well as in the Recruitment International Top 250, Top 50 in IT and the Recruiter Fast 50 & Hot 100 reports.
