Job Details
Competence & Qualifications:
A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Aquarius and Hydrolog, Harvest and fieldwork techniquesExcellent organisational and communication skillsSelf-motivatedThe ability to work well within own team
Skills & Attributes:
Reliable, confident, friendly and approachable.Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Able to work under pressure, manage time and prioritise effectively.Attention to detail.Ability to forward plan, use initiative, and work in a discrete and confidential manner.Flexible and adaptable to meet the varying demands of the role from time to time.
Key duties:
Logistics and scheduling of fieldwork and freelancersResource management (staff, equipment, vehicles)Line Management for Field teamRecruitment of Field staff alongside the Regional Head, both permanent and contract staff (advert, recruitment channels, interviewing, selection etc)Induction for new startersTraining for Field teamTechnical Specialist/ Go to person for Field team, working with our National Technical Specialist.Audits of Quality and H&S in the fieldProject Management of jobs allocated to you by the Regional HeadSite reconnaissance visits and proposalsQuality Control and data checking assisting the Data ManagerTo be responsible for the Health and safety and Environmental aspects affecting self, employees and projects in your control.Other duties which the Company may reasonably require the individual to undertake.
