The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Field Service Supervisor to be part of an expanding team within a large and well established family owned engineering business, at their Mansfield office.

Scope of role

- Day to day management of the field service team.
- Ensure all site work is carried out to company standards.
- Monitor KPI levels, carry out necessary investigations and report.
- Liaise with procurement to ensure all materials, parts and equipment are in place
- Work with the senior leadership team on improvement projects.
- Interact effectively with other department managers, to ensure excellent communication is maintained at all times.
- Carry out inspection site visits.
- Maintain excellent lines of communication with all customers and handle any issues / complaints.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and logged.
The Field Service Supervisor

- Experienced overseeing a team of either filed service or workshop engineers.
- Diesel engine experience ideally from; transport, haulage, heavy plant or military.
- From a hands on background with electrical & mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent workload management skills, with the ability to 'juggle' multiple tasks, often under fixed time constraints.
- Positive leader with the ability to communicate well across the team and with key stakeholders within the business.
- IT literate
