The Company hiring a Field Service Engineer

Our client are an international market leading manufacturer of commercial cleaning equipment and machines.� Their range of products includes sweepers, pressure washers, carpet care and floor care machines. These commercial machines are used in a variety of industrial, automotive, manufacturing, public sector and logistics settings. The Role of Field Service Engineer

This is a field based role and we are looking for a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer where you will be tasked with visiting customers servicing, repairing and demonstrating commercial cleaning machines in line with�SLA's. As a Field Service Engineer you will carry out reactive repair and service visits as well as some planned maintenance visits.

The role of Field Service Engineer is:

• To provide effective and technically competent breakdown and preventative maintenance services to products and systems at a variety of customer sites.


• 80% servicing pressure washers and floor care machines 20% servicing road sweeper municipal�machinary.


• To identify and communicate to customers, solutions and problems they encounter with the performance of their equipment such as repair and maintenance.


• To identify changes to individual customer contracts in terms of equipment covered, customer contact information and site requirements and feedback of such information.


• To ensure that any customer reports are completed professionally, and the outcome and recommendations of any visit.


• Provide customer with advice to ensure they are maximizing the potential of their machines.

The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer (Electro mechanical or electrical or mechanical)


• Experience servicing equipment such as industrial machines, municipal equipment, plant hire, capital equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics,� heavy automotive, light automotive, cleaning machines, FLT Forklift Trucks, horticultural / agricultural machinery material handing�MHE, White Goods�etc�are of interest.

• Monday to Friday 40�hrs�per week
