Field Service Engineer

Due to continued growth this global manufacturer are looking to expand the team and are looking for a Field Service Engineer working out of head office in Lichfield, Staffordshire but traveling across the UK.
Providing clients with onsite servicing and repairs to turnkey manufacturing solutions you will need to have a good understanding of engineering solutions and offer technical assistance.
Working with clients in Pharmaceutical, food, drink and other FMCG industries, the business thrives on its reputation for delivering excellent customer service and developing strong long term relationships with clients.
The role as a Field Service Engineer:
Commission new equipment at the customer's site including operational training.
Attend customer plants to perform service of cutting edge grinding machinery.
Train customer's maintenance and operating personnel in the proper operating and maintenance procedures.
Communicate with customers and our technical specialists from our headquarters in Germany.
Provide progress on project work and update HQ as required.
Organise your own travel when working away and submit expenses.
Skills and Qualifications for this Field Service Engineer role:
HNC/ HND/ Diploma in engineering or time served apprentice with experience in similar field.
