Field Service Engineer

Nova Talent are working with a leading global specialist in Plant Machinery for the Construction Industry. Employing over 9000 people worldwide, this is a company that considers its employees their most valuable asset enabling the company to be strong, stable and successful.Due to continued growth, together we are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover the South West England area . With strong knowledge of plant equipment repair, the successful applicant will be required to utilise their skills and experience in servicing and repairing plant equipment on customer sites, across the South West.The company has a reputation for quality, and prides itself on its reactive and industry leading repair and maintenance service, therefore applicants must be customer centric and able to uphold the company standards already set.Duties Include, but not limited to:Attending customer sites to conduct and complete scheduled services or repair work on company manufactured equipment.Communicating with the office coordination team to ensure effective planning and delivery of the service schedule.To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with Health and Safety Procedures.Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork and reports.Carrying out machine commissions, demonstrations and operator familiarisation as required.Required for the role:Ideally, NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and/or NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (those studying towards NVQ Level 2 are also welcome to apply) or equivalent.Sound knowledge of servicing & repairing plant/construction machinery.Happy to travel within the role, with some overnight stays.Salary & Benefits:Basic Salary starting at circa £37,500 per year (OTE £55,000).25 Days plus Bank Holidays per yearHealth InsuranceCompany EventsCompany Van + Laptop + PhoneJBRP1_UKTJ
