Based at our clients site in the West Midlands, theField Service Engineerwill embrace the daily challenges, be happy to turn your hand to a variety of tasks, a natural problem solver you will use your proven experience to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults in the workshop and out in the field. A highly progressive business spearheading technological advances throughout the whole operation, embracing sustainability practices to ensure the highest quality produce is delivered to the customer.Field Service Engineer Role Responsibilities:To perform routine service and maintenance requirements of vehicles and plant equipmentTo diagnose and rectify machinery, vehicle, and plant equipment breakdownsTo undertake field-based repairs, keeping downtime to a minimumTo fabricate machinery and parts designed in-houseTo follow safety procedures and regulations when undertaking repairs and maintenanceTo assist and support the team in the development of new projects and innovationsSkills you will need:Essential:Experience in undertaking routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles and equipmentProven experience in working with pneumatics and hydraulicsFabrication experienceAbility to work with low-voltage electronic systemsProficient in diagnosing and repairing machinery and hydraulic faultsA strong understanding of health and safety principles and proceduresHighly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise own diary and workloadsA problem solver with a methodical and detailed approachExcellent communication skillsA team player who can work cohesively within a team environmentReliable, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of a busy agricultural businessUK driving licenceDesirable:A relevant mechanical engineering qualificationElectronics and welding skillsTelescopic licenceRemuneration: A competitive salary commensurate with the candidate's experience.JBRP1_UKTJ
