Field Service Engineer – Nationwide Service Provider – Yorkshire – Salary: £24,900 - £30,500 + door to door + on-call + overtime = £40k - £50k + Company Van + Tools + Health Cash Plan + Workwear + Training

As Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned service and breakdown repair service to the customer base throughout Yorkshire and will also be part of the on-call rota which consists of 1-2 nights per week, 1 weekend in every 5 and will involve working an afternoon shift of 1pm – 10pm 2 weeks out of every 5.

You will be qualified to NVQ level or above in mechanical engineering, be comfortable using mechanical hand tools and have some experience of working on the service, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as heavy vehicle plant, machinery, forklift trucks, farm machinery, tractors, road sweepers, powered access or marine plant. An understanding of hydraulics and fault-finding electrics desirable as training can be provided.
