Job description: Are you a Field Service engineer working primarily in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry? Do you have strong electrical and mechanical knowledge?

If so, this could be a great opportunity to join us in our LPS Services Team to support installation and servicing market leading specialist equipment such as live cell imaging systems, Flow Cytometry equipment and molecular devices. These instruments are used in a variety of laboratory settings to support cell culture and molecular research activities.

You will be looking after customers mainly in the Oxford area, alongside visiting customers throughout the wider Northern Europe region (United Kingdom, Ireland and Nordics) on a periodic basis.

Grow with us Your Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites to install equipment
Train customers on the use and operations of instruments
Service and maintain complex mechanical systems, troubleshoot instrumentation
Assist with resolving IT issues and software updates
Collaborate with Field Application Specialists, Technical Specialists, Engineers, Sales
Help customers and get feedback from them

Required profile: A qualification in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, bioengineering
Experience as a service engineer in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
Experience working on capital or robotic equipment would be beneficial
Strong customer service skills and great communication skills
Ability to adapt to a dynamic schedule
Good organisational skills
Fluency in English
Willingness to travel
