Field Service Engineer- Northern Ireland

Role: Field Service Engineer.

Location: Northern Ireland.

Hours Of Work: 8 hour days, Monday-Friday with flexiblility including weekends.

Basic Salary: Upto �32,000 per annum, depending on experience

Additional Benefits: 25 days plus 8 days bank holiday, overtime after 40 hours paid at x1.5 and Workplace pension.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking for a Field Service Engineer to complete work on a range of their customer's sites across Northern Ireland. They are looking for someone who is confident with excellent communication and customer service skills. This is a permanent full-time position, and the successful candidate must be willing to work flexible hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Norco equipment on Customer Sites
• Liaise closely with Key Accounts and carry out repairs and services as required.
• Carry out battery topping, cleaning, and maintenance on customer premises.
• Attend callouts as and when they come into carry out repairs.
• Shift covers for sickness & holiday support.
• Submit all job sheets and reports to head office on a weekly basis.
• Safely prepare equipment for transportation
• Build up strong relationships with members of staff and customers.
• Work closely with the service department to plan and schedule jobs and prioritise urgent callouts.

Key Skills Required:

• Must have strong electrical knowledge

• Knowledge of Forklift Batteries & Chargers
• Background in Battery & Charger repairs & maintenance
• Excellent communication skills within the company and externally with customers
• Must hold Full UK Driving Licence as company van will be provided.
• Ability to function as part of a team.
• Diligent and conscientious attitude with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
