Field Sales

Red Recruitment is recruiting Field Sales candidates to join a well-established business that is a supplier of high-quality, multiple award-winning meat products to the retail, food service and manufacturing sectors. This role is based in Cardiff, however, you will be required to travel around that location for store visits. You will receive a car allowance for this as well as additional benefits.

The salary for this position is £25,500 per annum and is Monday to Friday only.

Benefits and Package for Field Sales:

• Salary: £25,500 per annum


• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm (part-time hours will be considered)


• Contract Type: Permanent


• Location: Cardiff


• A discretionary bonus of 10% subject to achievement of targets


• £4,000 car allowance


• 20p per mile (business mile)


• Pension contribution


• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays

• Company phone and laptop will be provided


• Expenses will be reimbursed weekly

Key Responsibilities of Field Sales:

• Conducting regular store visits to provide a consistent service


• Ensuring compliance with customer range, space, price and promotional activity


• Ensuring products are of a high quality, whilst informing the store of issues with stock levels and waste


• Developing customer awareness of the products through in-store sampling


• Attending and supporting customer and brand marketing events

Key Skills and Experience of Field Sales:

• Experience in field-based, customer-facing roles is essential


• Prior experience within the FMCG or food industry is essential


• A good understanding of the food retail store system is desirable


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is required


• Good knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft Office) is essential


• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of standards for compliance and quality
