Field Manager
Our client a well-known parking company are looking to expand their operations management team and have a new opportunity for a Field Manager (South- UK) to join the business.
As part of the current growth and expansion plans and internal transfer, they are looking for a Field Manager to join the business supporting the operational, management and commercial development responsibilities of the car park sites (cluster portfolio). This will be a remote working role, covering several car park sites across the South Region of the UK, including the southwest corridor, offering a salary of up to �42,000 depending on experience. This is a full time, permanent opportunity, working 40hours per week, Monday to Friday with the hours between, 8am to 5pm, with the requirements of working flexibility.
What will you be doing?
As a Field Manager, you will be part of the internal operations management team reporting to the Operations Manager. You will have operational responsibility for several sites, managing and supporting the first-line staff across a variety of managed or owned car park sites across the allocated portfolio of car parks.
The role will assist in ensuring consistency of services that are provided to clients and customers whilst ensuring that the standards are maintained across each car park site within your region. You will also support the ongoing development of relationships with the existing clients to deliver a professional service with a commercial focus for your region, supporting sales and revenue growth of current sites, whilst prospecting new business opportunities for exploration within your region.
What skills will you have?
You will have a proven track record of managing a team over a large regional area, this is essential. You will have Previous multisite, retail, commercial or car park industry services/management experience, this is desirable. You will be self-sufficient and proactive in your approach and be able to work individually as well as part of a wider team to deliver the business goals. You will be able to travel to carry out operational and role requirements (driving licence is required). You will have a customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will have great communication, time management and problem-solving skills, with a strong financial and commercial acumen. You will have a working knowledge and understanding of employment and health and safety legislation. You will have a sound judgement and understanding of operational requirements. You will have an excellent IT skills with working proficiency in Microsoft 365 packages (Outlook, Share-Point, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
