We are currently recruiting a talented and dedicated�Field Engineer�to join an extremely reputable company based in�Chesterfield. As a Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintenance for a variety of systems and equipment. You will be joining a multi-disciplinary company, so will be expected to occasionally support other teams installing temporary heating, ventilation, and environmental monitoring equipment.



We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic technical engineer to join a growing team. You will be responsible for field installations and servicing of temporary water treatment around the UK. The water treatment range includes but is not limited: to Clarifiers, chemical dosing control panels, mix tanks for coagulation, flocculation and pH control, oil removal and sludge handling.





Key responsibilities of a Field Engineer include:




  • Carry out on-site technical engineering installations around the UK.

  • Commission and optimise water treatment processes on site

  • Liaise with and instruct site agents on the use of equipment.

  • Project lead a small team of engineers during larger site installations

  • Carry out equipment breakdowns as and when required.

  • Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness.

  • Assist with the electrical and mechanical inspection of equipment prior to hire.

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment in the 'ready for hire' process.



We are looking for individuals who have experience with field engineering and a strong technical background. You should be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.



Requirements




  • Water treatment industry experience essential.

  • 3 years or more engineering experience in an electrical, mechanical or technical role.

  • Happy to travel around the UK

  • Electrical Qualification desirable.

  • Health & Safety certified to Level 3 desirable.

  • CSCS Card (or similar, required for work).

  • Clean driving licence essential.

  • Good IT skills in MS 365.





Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am-4:30pm





In addition, any relevant certifications or qualifications in the field engineering field would be advantageous. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our company.
