. Based in Gravesend, I have a brand-new
requirement for
a Field Engineer - 35 hour working week.
You will be working as part of a small team, focussing on systems and sensors at remote sites such as radar, VHF and microwave. The successful candidate will also be required to form part of an on-call rota which, for every one out of four weeks, includes being a point of contact out of hours and working the weekend to ensure the availability of services 24/7. Days off in the week are provided before and after the on-call period.
You must have:
Minimum 5 years hands on experience in a similar field role.
In depth knowledge and thorough understanding of the design and repair of electronic, analogue & digital telecommunications systems, RADAR, radio and microwave engineering.
Sufficient knowledge of IP networking and IT skills to configure and maintain computer-based aspects.
Ability to work at heights.
Full driving licence.
