Field Engineer Nationwide

ILLIG is Europe's leading designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced, high-performance thermoforming systems.

We are looking for a Nationwide Field Engineer to join our friendly team on a full time, permanent basis. Our customers are all over the UK and Ireland so we are open to recruit people from anywhere in the UK. Some travel abroad is required. 

Responsibilites of Field Engineer

-Installing, handing over and commissioning ILLIG manufacturing machines at customer sites: ready for start- up according the ILLIG requirements

-Maintaining ILLIG machines at customer sites and repairing electrics, pneumatics and hydraulics

-Resolving basic trouble-shooting cases, including the diagnosis- and analyses of the case.

-Providing Technical Support to customers and participate in the ILLIG Hotline as required

-Promoting and supporting all aspects of the Service Engineering Department, including Spare parts, upgrades, and training

- Maintaining all service processes on engineering sofware

-Completing and communicating service reports and support request forms, customer quotations

- Coordinating service issues with customers, Germany service department, ILLIG UK Engineers and liaise with Senior Service Engineer

Hours: average 45 hours per week (including travelling) over 17 week period

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum + commission, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, 10% pension, private health care, free parking
