Today, we operate in over 30 countries, employing over 29,000 people and our ambition is to continue growing strongly as we have done over the last decade and be the global leader in sustainable packaging solutions.About the Role We are looking for an SAP Application Specialist to provide additional capability within BAU and SAP projects, undertaking and assisting primarily within the FI/CO S&D area of SAP.
As the successful Application Specialist, you will be responsible for improving and supporting DS Smith IT Applications, which includes building and implementing new solutions. You will provide 2nd and 3rd line applications support and will contribute to the build and ongoing management of effective SAP FI/CO and S&D processes. As part of the core applications team you will also have an input to the development of the applications architecture.
You will have experience in supporting and managing the interfaces between site business systems and SAP, designing and implementing improvements to those systems. This support will focus on functions such as Record to Report, Credit and Collections, Sales and Distribution and Master Data areas. As well as having expertise in FI/CO areas, the role will involve support of other SAP Modules such as MM, PM, Readsoft as and when required.
Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills are required for this role, not just implementation collaboration with business teams but also the ability to deliver training. Part of the role will also include designing training material for end users as well as training delivery.
