FEL Driver

Randstad Engineering are currently recruiting for a Front End Loader to come and work for DS Smith, Chryston within the Engineering Team.

Role: FEL Driver

Location: Chryston

Rate: �12.43 per hour

Shift Patterns: 6.30am - 3pm (OT Available x1.5)

The role would have the ideal candidate starting as soon as possible.

The Role

The role would require somebody working with a 3.5 cubic meter loading driver, hopper loading whilst ensuring safety in the workplace at all times. Our ideal candidate would be somebody with working experience of this particular machinery. There would be elements of stock management incorporated into the role and the right candidate would bring flexibility to the task as some reasonable management requests could broaden your working tasks.

  Be accountable for your own and others health and safety whilst at work, operating in line with SSOW (safe systems of work) and company procedures to enable a safe working environment.

  Take a proactive approach to continually improve housekeeping standards in engineering workshops around the site

  Meet and exceed set KPIs for safety, quality, and productivity.

  Ensure contractors are appropriately supervised and comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes.

  Document and communicate as necessary legible engineering records.

  Ensure appropriate training is completed for self when carrying out tasks around the site.

  
  

About You

• 
  

  Evidence of prioritization in your workload.

  
  


• 
  

  Must have a demonstrable background in a manufacturing/construction environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in a fast-paced, multi-shift manufacturing environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with similar machinery, 3.5 cm2 or Hopper Loading

  
  


• 
  

  Desirable backgorund in Agriculture or Construction

  
  


• 
  

  Consistently aware of Safety at Work Practices.

  
  


• 
  

  The ability to be flexible in your work, carrying out reasonable management requests when able to.
