Featured Finance Manager

A Global apparel and fashion business is seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join their business in Bloomsbury, London. The Group owns and manages several small and mid-sized brands across the world.The role is to oversee the Finance and Accounts functions in a group of small brands and DTC businesses (2-3). The role reports to the CFO.The business supports hybrid working (up to two days a week from home).Finance Manager: The Role: Day-to-day bookkeeping on Xero, hands-on managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and treasury functionsSupport the integration Xero to SAPEnsure timely and accurate financial (MIS) reporting on a monthly and annual basisMonitor and control monthly business performance against budget and forecast and liaise with key stakeholders to deliver targetsManage the budgeting and forecasting processes and support the CFO as neededAssist the vertical CEO’s and CFO with managing supplier contracts (e.g. rent, utilities), equipment leasing/purchasing and negotiation with suppliersWork closely with the Group Finance, Treasury and Audit teamsEnsure UK VAT / tax complianceFinance Manager: The Person: You will be part or fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar) with demonstrable experience of managing accounts, banking and commercial aspects, ideally within the apparel and fashion industryWorking knowledge of SAP (ECC 6 or HANA) would be advantageous along with intermediate excel skillsFluent in English both oral and written communicationAble to operate in a busy workplaceAble to multi-task, prioritise and meet strict deadlines whilst having excellent attention to detailStrong interpersonal skillsBe self-motivatedIf this sounds like you, please apply in confidence
