Fault Management Quality Engineer

As a trusted recruitment partner for some of the world's most innovative automotive manufacturers, Expleo currently have an opportunity for a Faults Management Engineer for New Product Quality, to join a highly experienced team in Towcester on an initial contract basis.

Principal Accountabilities:
* Quality faults reduction in the new design using lessons learned and previous model quality data, to reduce customer quality concerns.
* Project specific KPI reporting to ensure each project is delivering to the required parameters at each gateway.
* Faults management meeting coordination and process ownership
* Management of the fault allocation meeting to deliver a robust QN to QCR conversion.
* Continuous development of reporting metrics using PowerBi
* Development of component and whole vehicle quality standards, working together with both engineering and supplier quality teams

Essential Experience:
* A degree in mechanical / automotive engineering or similar (2:1 or above) or equivalent experience in a similar role.
* Comprehensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing or similar industry.
* New product development experience in the Automotive Industry
* Working knowledge of FMEA and Design for Manufacture.
* Project management of cross functional working groups.
