Role - Farm ManagerLocation - Winterton area (Dwelling is provided on the farm site )Working hours - 48 hours over 6 daysCapacity of role - Permanent positionsSalary - GBP34,668 per annumOur client, a family-run hatching company, is currently looking for experienced farm managers to join our team. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the production of top-quality hatching eggs while managing daily routines, ordering consumables, and overseeing stock health and welfare.Key responsibilities include recruitment and training of employees, maintaining farm cleanliness and bio-security measures, and adhering to Health and Safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a stock management background, the ability to manage employees, and an organised approach to duties.Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Farm Manager: Ensure depletion and restocking is well organised and efficient, and economic use of materials is practisedEnsure farm is well maintained, to arrange and organise Contractors, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilitiesBe aware of Health and Safety standards and requirements, including RiskAssessments and COSHH, ensuring full implementation is practicedEnsure tight control is maintained on quantitative uses of consumables such as feed, shavings, gas and other servicesEnsure unit is clean and tidy, and strict bio-security measures are implementedEnsure all Codes of Practice are adhered to at all timesEnsure site security is maintained at all timeResponsible for day to day management of farm Employees, including allocation of work to ensure smooth running of farmResponsible for accurate completion of Employee timesheets, holidays, sickness management and training of new employees Undertake any other duties as required to fulfil the needs of the positionAttend training courses which are determined as appropriate by the Company Skills and experience sought:Excellent administration skillsEffective communicatorAble to work well under pressureFull UK Driving license Stock management backgroundAbility to work as part of a team as well as on own initiativeBenefits :• Bonus Scheme • 32 days annual holiday including bank holidays.• Skills and experience sought:• Training and development programs.• Stakeholder Pension and Life Assurance.• Referral Scheme with rewardsClosing date is 16.05.2024Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client.To Apply please follow the application process for the site this job is advertised on or email your CV to (url removed).
