Farm Manager - Vegetables | LincolnshireWorth Farms£DOEAre you passionate about sustainable agriculture, growing high quality crops, and managing a diverse and skilled team of people?We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Farm Manager to join a forward-thinking company, and lead all of their vegetable productionWhat's the Role?As the Farm Manager for vegetables, you will be responsible for the planning, cultivation, planting and husbandry of all vegetables crops as well as the harvesting of spinach crops.If you hold FACTS and BASIS, have previous experience managing a team, love being hands on with crops and are scientific in your approach, this could be the role for you.The role is hands on, and there's no doubt you will be working hard. Previous experience working in farming is essential with vegetable crop growing desirable. The team are driven, and enthusiastic. There is a fantastic opportunity to manage the skills they already have and develop them into a highly skilled, and high performing team.Who do I get to work for?Worth Farms are part of the A H Worth group a 5th generation food and farming business. They are vertically integrated, growing most of the produce they sell on their own farms. They operate from two sites in South Lincolnshire, as well as farming operations in Spain and Italy, employing up to 750 people.They are always looking for ways to invest and grow the business, and farming is the foundation behind this. Vegetable production in the UK is around 700ha and is run closely with arable production of 2500ha.What's next?
