Have you always wanted to work as a Family Support Worker but never had the chance?

Would you like to support parents and their children in our residential family assessment centre? Working with, for and alongside families who need a supportive place to stay while they undergo an assessment?

We have an AMAZING opportunity for Family Support Workers to join at one of our Assessment Centre's in Brierley Hill

  • Location: Brierley Hill
  • Hours: 39 hours per week working earlies, lates and weekends.
  • Salary: £27,336 - £30,336 (working approx 6 sleep ins per month)

What you will be doing as a Family Support Worker:

  • Providing support to families in the centre on day shifts and night shifts
  • Providing practical support and advice
  • Complete assessments of the family's needs.
  • Producing Action Plans
  • Developing trusting relationships

What you will need to be a successful Family Support Worker

  • Experience as a Children's Support Worker, working with Young People or other social care experience - DESIRABLE
  • You must be a car driver as you will be required to transport young people
  • You must be over the age of 22 - ESSENTIAL
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People - DESIRABLE

**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, we are only able to consider applicants who have a full driver's licence and a car**
